    I grew up in the Bay Area of Northern California, where my love of hip-hop led me to audition for So You Think You Can Dance . . . turns out I can't.

    Before advertising, I spent a year studying juvenile delinquency, meeting with teen drug addicts, and interviewing teens in the prison system. After watching a film on the negative effects of advertising, I thought, 'that's pretty rad. If a beauty ad could cause bulimic epidemics, could a cereal ad eliminate the need for a 9mm?'.

    Still fascinated with sociology, I recently helped run a soccer league for kids growing up on the streets of Guatemala.
